Sioux Technologies & Thermo Fisher develop record breaking X-ray detector
‘The top of a technological roadmap.’ This is how Ruud Krijnen, system architect at Thermo Fisher Scientific, characterizes the Ultra-X. The maximum speed and sensitivity of a detection system for the company’s latest generation transmission electron microscope has been achieved. Sioux Technologies was involved in this exceptional technological achievement from the first development phase and started the pilot production of the module early 2021. The Ultra-X detector is rewarded in the Guinness World Records book as the most sensitive X-ray detector on the planet. A great achievement and cooperation of the teams of Sioux & Thermo Fisher. -
Sioux Technologies & Project MARCH
Sioux Technologies extends the cooperation with Project MARCH. The TU Delft student team, Project MARCH, develops an exoskeleton in annual iterations, with which they want to give mobility back to people with physical disabilities. This is where (medical) multidisciplinary high-tech meets social responsibility. The exoskeleton is an important step towards a future in which wheelchairs are disappeared from the streets. -

Super Models: the success in cooperation between Sioux and Masévon
Sioux Technologies developed Super Models: a model driven development (MDD) tool that has proven itself in multiple projects in different domains and organizations. Masévon also saw opportunities in Super Models, which ultimately led to the largest MDD project in mechanical engineering for Sioux.
