X-ray Control board
Sioux developed the new software functionalities of the control board according to customer requirements and took care of the test and bug fixes.
The Power and Vacuum Technology Centre of Siemens Healthineers supplies all divisions of Healthcare and many OEM partners with, among other products, X-ray tubes and generators, image intensifiers and X-ray accessories.
The customer’s challenge
Siemens X-ray generators for angiography, radiography and fluoroscopy require constant software maintenance and service. In addition, new functionalities and design adaptations of the control board for X-ray tubes was necessary.
Sioux’s contribution
Sioux developed the new software functionalities of the control board according to customer requirements and took care of the test and bug fixes. This includes: monitoring functions, parameter handling and logging of scan parameters.
Result
The control board was updated and standardized for the new electronic platform of X-ray tubes. Siemens now has a technological state-of-the-art control board to its disposal.
